Langsett Reservoir was built between 1889 and 1905 with a depth of 30m and an area of 126 acres ( that's 75 football pitches). It's fed by the Little Don (or Porter) river which eventually joins the Don River at Deepcar. The Area is now managed by Yorkshire Water, who have invested in path maintenance and access to the area, Making it a great venue for walking, bird watching, family strolls or mountain biking. |
