Pete's been mountain biking for years-I bought my first bike 20 years ago (kids- thats' before suspension or discs!). I know about the mud, the blood, and the sweat of a real bike ride. we don't mind if you come in covered in all three- in fact there'll be questions if you don't!
Classic Cross country routes including the epic Cut Gate path to Ladybower reservoir a full day on the hills.
The Transpennine Trail makes for gentler exercise-200 miles or linked family friendly trail stretching from the North Sea to the Irish Sea, and coming within a mile of Langsett.
For Downhill Junkies it's got to be the Mecca Wharncliffe Woods- home of Steve Peat- the best downhill area for 100 miles . |
Langsett is an ideal location to meet for a day of serious action-Park at the Peak District National Park Langsett Car Park, just 200m away, pop to the cafe and fuel up for the day.
..and while you're here pick up some lunch and some energy food.
Finished for the day? relax over a pint of tea and some real food, chat and plan your next outing.
We also stock cycle spares.. inner tubes, puncture repair kits, water bottles, tools, compasses, maps, guide books
Got a puncture? you're welcome to borrow our track pump
Pete says "remember ...its not a proper day out if there isn't blood !! "
