A new chapter in the history of the cafe has opened with the arrival of new owner Pete and his wife Helen with their 3 young children; Joe, Rosie and Poppy.

Pete has always been a keen cyclist, walker, climber and caver- in fact he loves anything that gets him outside. He has worked as an instructor, spent many years running Youth Hostels and has managed cafes in the Hope Valley. For him this is the perfect job- looking after people who are enjoying the countryside!

We've only recently moved to this area of Yorkshire but we've fallen in love with it, with it's friendly people and wild hills- perfect for us!!

While we have great plans for the future of the cafe, we want to preserve it's charm and homely atmosphere- it's that which makes the Bank View Cafe such a special place.
